Dr Aisha Lateef is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Rheumatology Division, University Medical Cluster, National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. She has special interest in SLE and obstetric rheumatology, establishing specialized clinics at NUH which combines clinical care, research and education under one roof.

 

Dr Lateef has published several articles and book chapters on different aspects of SLE, and serves on the editorial board and as a reviewer for many rheumatology journals. She plays an active role in rheumatology organizations and research collaborations including the Asia Pacific Lupus Collaboration (APLC).

She is passionate about teaching, holding teaching appointments at both Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Nanyang Technological University of Singapore).

 

Dr Lateef is concurrently Chief of Medicine at Woodlands Health Campus, an 1800 bedded campus set to open in phases from 2023, which aims to reinvent the way care is delivered and provide seamless integration of care within and beyond hospital walls.
